There is so much bad news and drama and convictions around Trump that the most hardcore Trump supporters have to return to the great times (his campaign rallies). That’s all this thread is. A person craving the good times.

No. It’s just the truth. You guys are bombarded by negative news mostly from Trumps lips and his Twitter (well, and the Trump team members being convicted or cooperating).

Yet Trump has Obama beat when it comes to campaigning - didn’t he start his re-election campaign the day after he got elected?

He began spending for his reelection effort within weeks of his election, and officially filed his campaign with the Federal Elections Commission on the day of his inauguration. Since February 2017, Trump has held several rallies and a fundraiser for this campaign. He has visited key electoral states. The campaign has raised funds and run two nationwide advertising campaigns. The campaign has announced that the slogan for the 2020 race will be “Keep America Great”. The rallies have come under intense criticism for the high level of misleading statements made by Trump, anything from 68 to 76% during the summer 2018 rallies.
When Obama was President, did you pay attention to how many times he was criticized by Sean and Rush for campaigning and gofling?
Did you participate in that excoriating?
Now that Trump is President and doing the exact same thing, the people who criticized Obama so severely have no problem with it.
That’s not jealousy or covetousnous. That’s pointing out, yet again, the hypocrisy of many people on these boards, as well as talk radio hosts.
Trump is America First, Obama was/is Globalism First. He fleeced the country and savaged the constitution. He accomplished nothing. His speeches were all based in marxist/progressive lies and race- baiting.
The lies from Obama were constant. He subverted America in everyway he could. That is why leftists liked him. In the meantime, he personally raised health care costs of the average healthy person, from around $225 dollars a month to $800, $1200, $1500.00 in a period of 8 years. This killed the finances of many millions of young and old and damage business. He also presided over a casino stock market and destruction of the US dollar and the rise of drug gangs and the mentality of using minorities and normal sympathy of naive liberals, to get votes. There was also a criminal campaign to aid and abeit the enemies.
The hypocrisy of the leftist is very unAmerican and seditious.
Trump is an American who tossed aside his own life to fix America after the damage.
Let’s just examine a couple of your delusions:
- the “casino stock market”. Has it become less of a “casino” (your words) under Trump? Care to try to explain how the mechanism of stock price valuations has changed?
- “personally raised health care costs”, with your made-up numbers of 6x over 8 years. According to Price Waterhouse Cooper, the annual increase in health care costs steadily declined during Obama’s administration, from 9.2%/year to 6.2%. Medical cost trend: Behind the numbers 2022: PwC
- “destruction of the US dollar”. Inflation remained very low and well contained during Obama’s administration, only 2 years over 2%. When Obama took office, you’d get about 0.75 Euro per dollar, when he left it was about 0.93/dollar. The UK pound? From ~$1.40/Pound to ~$1.25. Yen? From ~91/dollar to about 115.

That’s nonsense. Trump has been in office less than 2 yrs and has done remarkable things for the economy. He is going to fix the casino stock market, the globalist BS the savaging of America. We are the number one energy producer and the military which was whttled down to nothing by Obama, is being modernized and be made stronger than ever. He is going to keep cleaning house until the “stench” of the deep state is gone. And every remnant of leftist, anti American crud is gone.
Define casino stock market and what is the President going to do to fix the situation?
Almost every time I watch Trump I do learn something. Mostly that he has no idea what the Constitution is all about. That he has little idea of what his job is. That he has a very poor concept of what global trade is all about. That he doesn’t have a clue about how NATO is funded. That he has no foreign policy plans for every critical area in the world. That he is totally capable of making a fool of himself by believing everything he hears on Fox news. And that he has no interest in learning new things and is not bothered by telling endless lies.

Yeah, just keep talking about the economy and dismiss the increase in our debt that this man has caused.
We are about due for a stock market correction. I’m wondering if Trump will be taking credit for that if it hits in the next two years. Something tells me the answer is no.
