A leading official at the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency educated a liberal Senator during congressional testimony this week; explaining that illegal immigrants committed a crime when they entered the United States.
ICE official Matthew Albence was appearing before a Congressional committee Tuesday when he informed Hawaii Sen. Mazie Hirono that migrants who entered the US illegally had indeed broken federal law.
“We’re missing the point. These individuals are there because they’ve broken a law… They’re there for a violation of the US Nationality Act," said Albence.
“I’m confused,” admitted the Senator.
