there are no “swings”
just keeps going leftward, more insane
c’mon guys
Microcosm. Need to look at it from perspective of history. Not from the perspective of here and now.
I am sure the left felt this way in the 90s. Look at where we are now
I get that but it’s just too little amount of time to assume that a swing back won’t happen
agree, but, communists now.
sounds right. a new way to “bury you” some think sparking counter culture revolution of 60’s. it’s an interesting idea.
as society continues to devolve under its own degeneracy it sure looks like it

I completely disagree with this, as does history. There is always a swing. The current one is probably starting.
Trump getting elected in 2016 was a swing. The proletariat going MAGA.
The NAZIs and Franco’s fascists.
Militant Japan.
Reconstruction and the destruction of our own state’s rights.
The public accommodation law response to Jim Crow.
The list goes in and on.
The System always searches for (and fails to find) balance.
theres never any swing back though
society will continue to lurch leftward until there’s constant chaos. this is by design

“Communist” has pretty much become a meaningless term.
Strategy, not idea.

I think you are going to see a pretty large swing to the right in the midterms provided Biden doesn’t opt for war against Republicans instead of elections.
What would this war look like outside of a campaign war room. Oh look there is that word again. I wonder why…
no - look…
that was a political swing. not cultural. the left accelerated their insanity with him in office as a knee jerk reaction to queen hillary the first trying to win in an unrigged election
killing jim crow was an achievement by liberals (actual liberals not leftist maniacs). this does not represent any cultural swing

Education>culture>politics. The proletariat went MAGA, they like America First. They didn’t like Trump. He’s unlikable.
So campaign rhetoric and strategy. Not actual war. Phew

Umm the proletariat appear to still like him. The parties have pretty much switched bases at this point, Republicans are now the workers party and the dems are the corporatists and that’s why republicans are picking up a lot of still sane democrats as we speak.

You are forgetting the bleeding over of public accommodation laws into the private sector, practically destroying property rights.
That’s the loud proletariat. You can’t project that onto the entire class.

I disagree, they’re waiting for a viable America First alternative.
I agree with the latter.

The left spent the 60s through the 90s subverting higher education. From 2000 to present it has been about subverting federal and state bureaucracies, corporate America and lower education.

they went maga because they knew that DC could give a damn about them. this is not cultural. definitely not “educational”
