Since we are here for some consciousness raising- here is Marsha P Johnson- one of the key figures during the Stonewall riots (1969) that led to increasing gay rights over the last 50 years. Complicated, tragic but important figure for fighting against police brutality and helping people be who they are and not hide from the bigots.
