All anyone has to do, is comply with a legal order and it’s just that simple. Did he? I’d say he complied with that as well as he did complying with our immigration laws.
The agents demanded Mendez get out of the car. He said he was waiting on his lawyer, and that’s when video shows an agent smashed his car window.

PS He wasn’t who they were looking for. That’s the end of it right there…if they ask for a person and I’m not who they are looking for, there is no more “compliance” necessary.
That plus if I’m reading the article correctly, they didn’t tell him why he was being stopped or asked to leave the car
That’s a no no. You have a right to remain in your car if they don’t tell you why they stopped you.
This is why you should understand your rights rather than meekly comply.
Since Mendez is not home yet, and they didn’t give him a reason for stopping him before they yanked him from his car, there’s a tad more to the story.
You guys wonder why I’m concerned how many rights you guys are willingly ceding?
Because you don’t even know what ■■■■■■■rights you have right now…you just counsel meek obedience at every turn.
Sounds more like story about a mistake than about rights.
But with enough effort and aneurysms, we can blow this whole thing out of any sense of proportion.
