Aside: I’m kinda disappointed that, in light of the thread’s title, no one even “liked” me linking Robin Williams with Gump talking about comfortable shoes. I thought that surely someone else would remember (about 6:20 minutes in):
I was exposed to porn as a boy. Thought I was a regular little Solomon who could handle it. Therefore I have a good idea what it does to rob someone of innocence. Why do you think I would eagerly burn all porn? Or why do you think I see no issue with the idea that it would be better for these people to drown themselves (millstone or not) than for them to continue to do what they are doing?
You are not very clever by using an old, tired and stupid debating trick . . . exaggerate your opponents’ position, and then argue against your own exaggerations.
Genderqueer should also be used in an age appropriate manner. High School aged kids are pretty well equipped to handle it… just as well as they can handle Oedipus Rex
Eh, I don’t know. Putting pictures of oral sex acts in a book in an elementary school library and say well it helps the story is not something I would consider a winning argument.
I haven’t seen where Genderqueer was placed in Elementary schools. There was an incident involving a book titled “Felix Ever After” that was included in a display in an Elementary school in Texas and was removed after some kerfuffle… and I do agree that that book is not age appropriate for children of that age but I can also accept that it was included by mistake and not as some sort of nefarious plot to groom children.
My daughter is watching like a hawk to see if any of the perverseness the woke libs want in schools, such as drag queens etc, finds its way into my grandchildrens school.
She says if it happens she will with draw them immediately!
