Legalizing Psychedelics

Yep i browse leafly quite a bit. I’d like to try cbd critical cure. It would be fun to get like 5 nugs of 5 different and do an experiment.

I took 5mg THC gummy awhile ago amd it got me waaay too ripped. But CBD is ok from my experience with oils. Although I hear combined cbd with thc is better…

I dont know. It sucks it being illegal because you really cant try different things.

Its weird though. Sometimes i get little glimpses, where i am high…my pain is under control and i feel great. But it lasts like 15 seconds then the anxiety rushes in.

I dont want energy/euphoria. I want to relax. Everything on the black market seems to just rip your face off

Is there a certain strain you like?

Pure CBD crystals in the morning with coffee.

Sweet Jack (sativa-dominant) after breakfast.

More CBD with lunch.

Dinachem (hybrid) after dinner.

Blueberry (my all-time favorite Indica) after the kids go to bed and until I go to bed, along with a full spectrum oil pill.

For spot checks, I have a topological spray for my back and legs.

I wonder if your consistent cbd use helps. Ive just been smoking assuming all THC

In many ways, CBD is superior to THC (for me), but combining the two makes one compliment the other.

One of the first positive things I get to experience every morning is the immediate cessation of arthritic pain in my lower back and hips. By the time I exhale the second lung-full of CBD, I get the sensation of a large dose of tylenol starting to take effect.

I think i will try that. I took a lot of cbd oil for a bit. Then tried smoking THC. But never together consistently. I read on the internetz that both together has greatest medicinal. Maybe the cbd will ease my mind when i smoke

The CBD will blunt (pun intended) a lot of the psychoactive effects of THC. Both compete for the same CB receptor and will “dilute” each other, but also in a synergistic manner.

It may very well even blunt some of the negative side effects, like paranoia and anxiety.

That is exactly what i need

CBD for inflammation
THC for pain

Sativa for getting up and getting motivated.

Hybrid for cruising over the hump and into the latter part of the day.

Indica for getting relaxed and ready to fall asleep.

It does, and look for strains with high myrcene and linalool when you’re checking Leafly, although its hard to find that info. Myrcene can enhance the thc but is also sedative, and linalool is sedating. If you can find hash plant or northern lights (but not northern lights #5), I don’t find either to be anxiety producing and they’re both lower in thc than many new strains. Right off the bat, a little anxiety, but they both go away fairly quickly. Tahoe OG is very nice, and so is the blueberry, although I like strains that lull me to sleep and blueberry doesn’t so much. But it is nice.

What brand of CBD? And you use a vaporizer, or is it powder? I’ve been using some from Uncanny Wellness (they call it barista blend) that’s a water soluble powder.

Will they force schoolchildren to get high?? OMG!!!

For me, medically I’m looking for something that helps me sleep.

So I leave flowers in sunlight, to degrade some of the THC into CBN.

Other than that, I’m interested in getting high as well - so I seek out high-THC strains.

I’ve always been skeptical about these “differences” between strains…hope to be able to try a bunch out. Are the differences really that noticeable?

They all get you high.

But yes - there are differences, but they’re usually subtle. Taste is important to me.

Say like, one small hit of a strain that is 25% THC and 0% CBD vs small hit 5% THC vs 15% CBD. Is it a dramatic difference?

They are. Tahoe OG makes me happy. So does Lemon OG Kush, but it’s short lived. Northern Lights is my number one favorite followed very closely by hash plant. I’m not sure about the levels of myrcene or linalool in northern lights, but I do know that hash plant is high in myrcene. And once I fall asleep with hash plant, I am out very soundly for the rest of the night - more so than with any other. But all that being said, I think the lower levels of thc might make an even bigger difference as far as anxiety goes - unless they also have a good cbd content.

Oh, you mean percentage-wise.

Yes, there will be a big difference. THC is what gets you high - the feeling of euphoria, munchies, etc. CBD is not psychoactive in the same way, but goes a long way towards relieving pain and inflammation.

Favorite plant for me: Sour Diesel.

Uncontested.

It’s very popular. I’m just not a sativa lover. I find most sativa’s and sativa leaning hybrids make me hungry. And, I rarely smoke during the day, so I love the couch lock and sleepiness I get from my favorites.
