This was the best rendition of the National Anthem I’ve ever heard and I’ve heard many.

I have to agree. It was a little theatrical, but that is part of her persona. Vocally it was top notch. That says a lot since my wife is a professionally trained opera singer.
Tell your wife; if she doesn’t kow, that since April, the Metropolitan Opera has been doing free streams of past productions… different every day.
