That’s exactly what Kari Lake will do if elected. Anyone crossing AZ’s border without permission would be trespassing and be subject to AZ’s criminal code.
The argument about the costs as we have seen are complete ■■■■■■■■■ as they have been perfectly fine with the trillions of dollars the Dem’s have spent and would be perfectly happy with the Dem’s spending trillions more on whatever new government program they can dream up. Furthermore they NEVER mention the billions of dollars it costs us to provide healthcare, schooling, housing, meals, etc., etc., etc., to the millions of people who come here illegally each year!
The fact is that, as I’ve said numerous times, the majority of the Democrats party and most of their hardcore supporters ideologically believe in open borders.
So all this talk of repelling an invasion will result in individuals crossing illegally to be prosecuted?
Does that mean they will be immediately repatriated across the border or incarcerated while their crime is processed? Will they qualify for bail? What if they have children will they be incarcerated as well?
Lake using evocative words like “invasion” play well to her demographic and I am sure it motivates people to get out and vote but I am still not seeing any specifics as to what that will equate to.
Is that a trick question, or are you totally ignorant of the enforcment of law?

Nearly all of the arrests so far have been single adult men, Val Verde County Attorney David Martinez told the news outlet. He also said that he was advised that the number of arrests could reach 100 or 200 a day.
“[Those numbers] would overwhelm not only my office, but our entire system pretty quickly,” Martinez told The Associated Press.
So I ask again…how will a Governor Lake operationalize this?
Oh so she will overwhelm and break Arizona’s law enforcement apparatus…and this will lead to enhanced border security…how?
PS wow that is the by far the shortest and most coherent response you’ve made on these boards yet…without all the irrelevant text in large bold and/or italicized fonts. I’m impressed!
I think Kari will since each state has the fundamental and original right to protect its own borders against a flood of unwanted foreign nationals.

Too bad the illegal culprit wasn’t part of the invading horde Ol Folksy Joe invited here?
But alas, he’s a wanted “student visa violator” wanted by ICE, in this country since 2018.
Musta slipped through the cracks? Is there a higher educational institution down in AZ that does graduate credit for burglary?
