premiums are not getting subsidized, they are flat out raiding he medicare trust fund to mask the premium increases. This is not done according to the law. They cannot just raid the fund to pay insurers the difference in premium costs. That is NOT what the money was appropriated for and there is no provision to continue it after the election. Should the trust fund declare the stolen funds campaign contributions?
exposing the falacy of lower drug costs. They didnât lower the cost, they shifted the cost. what was paid directly by the consumer to the pharmacy will now be paid by the insurer to the pharmacy and the insurer will pass on the cost (plus additional costs) to the consumer to pay on the other end.
does the word temporary not get through to you? This is NOT authorized by law. Cost shifting s not cost cutting. The consumer will pay the increased premiums, as soon as the election is over. This is a corrupt use of funds.
complete â â â â â â â â â They have no plan to do so. Their only concern was not having the premiums increase before the election.
They did not lower drug prices, they merely shifted the cost so they can claim they did. Now theyâll rail on about insurance companies gouging their customers, which of course is nothing more than the result of the cost shifting.
Cost is cost and the drugs arenât going to pay for themselves. The only thing these morons are going to do is bankrupt the medicare trust fund. Which of course may be their goal to begin with.
