Judge refuses same sex marriages

Excellent answer Doug.

No, my post was about my opinion, which you have already conceded I am entitled to. I concede they have authority attached to their subjective opinions.

Her “belief” is based in her religion and has no bearing on how she performs her legal government duties.

The power to perform marriages is vested in her by the state, not by God.

Don’t care if she believes in flying pasta, citizens asking for the service are not interested in her religion.

Its true it’s not required, but she is asked to do the service because she is an agent of the state. Not for her sparkling personality. Lol sorry.

People who are calling a courthouse asking for a judge to marry them aren’t looking for her religious views. Likely since they are doing this at the courthouse, they are looking to keep religion out.

I read that the other judges there who had sincerely held religious beliefs dealt with it by no longer doing marriages.

Apparently she used to do that too, but changed her mind.

Maybe she misses the thick wad of cash that gets handed to her afterward as a symbol of gratitude for the service.

If she were a pastor, I would agree with you, and back her up. But this is a government employee, nothing more.

Don’t get carried away.

You could quote Paul from Romans here and seal the argument.

Ok. Nothing to do with my post where I stated that her refusal to do these sorts of marriages did not mean that she would be biased in her judicial decisions. But, ok.

At some point the realization will hit people that approving and legalizing of “Same Sex marriage” was not a good choice, that emerged by emotional and political blackmail.

Politicians and people at large that were disapproving of this, were pushed to the side. The media pushed it through. This at a time when gay people already had every right, except the right to attack religion. It wasn’t even the gays intent on this. They were just pawns.

Politicians afraid of losing voters, people at large were criticized as bigots and haters, when in fact , to them, the very idea of “gay marriage” is anathema to what marriage and family is about–and totally antithetical to family units.

Civil unions didn’t count to those pushing this. Not good enough. Arguments that Marriage is based in religion was bulldozed over by athiest, communists, globalists and loud mass media, and easily bought politicians, even though it makes no sense logically to those that see “marriage between a Man and a Woman.”

If the equal rights argument is a secular thing, then invent a new word, instead of “marriage.”. But this idea was knocked aside. Instead it was turned into a ridiculous sham to attack religion and churches and even private people who didn’t agree with gay marriage. A power grab. It wasn’t about gay rights, it was using gays as a wedge into American religion freedom.

it became more and more clear, that activists were more focused on attacking religion and the religious than equal rights for gays. It was a power grab for them.

No one sought to deprive Gays of any civil rights, but that wasn’t good enough, the activists wanted to rub religious people’s nose into their unrelenting, ideological terrorism.

“Athiest activists” must have screws loose maybe they are compensating for an unconscious religious guilt. Strip the rights of religions who don’t believe in gay marriage, forcing them into tacit surrender.

At the same tine, Athiest cultist activists, financed by the same, Open Society conspiracy, used radical Islamic Terror for another power grab to criticize Israel. Never a mention that radical islam throws gays off buildings etc. It is a completely insincere attempt at rubbing America’s nose into whatever the bought and paid for, anarchic, leftist, socialist, mass media throwup, communist minions work on.

Face it, any chaos, corruption, heart ache they can throw at normal people, religion, churches, families the founders, and America, they are bound, by their inner satanic blood oath and outside cash, to follow-up on. They already sold their souls, what do they have to lose?

Destroyer of worlds, you are going to all be reborn as lower creatures, crawling things, for Aeons and spend an eternity in expiation and suffering. Great Guren Jikoku

All because of your own, delusional dreams of world domination.

What shows are you watching?

Of course it can.
Example- Anyone behind on child support can’t register a car. That’s discrimination.

The ones YOU MAKE, Jezcoe. Printed in devils blood and distributed to the hollow seeking sheeples to fill their head with dancing antlers and further your nefarious cause of destroying a Caucasian 50’s America that never existed. A pox on you sir!

They can still get married, just not by her. No problem.

There’s no need to take everything so personally.

The Texas Commission on Judicial Conduct made this call. Not anyone on this board. I understand you’re upset about it, but I think you’re channeling it in a weird direction.

I’ve missed your posts.

Why is this at all controversial. The judge has an absolute right to follow her conscience.

Maybe we should just give up the term “marriage” to the homosexuals, and have another ceremony for God-fearing couples called a “God-blessed monogamous heterosexual union” which is recognised by the state as a legal union.

Do we really want judges that are poor judges?

This is a great idea. Then we can know if a couple isn’t married but is instead G-bmhued that we probably don’t want to be friends with them.
