Merchan and his daughter could easily find themselves before a House or Senate committee to answer questions about their ties to the DNC especially the daughter. To his credit Merchan has a reputation for being tough but fair, conducting an orderly court, heâs well prepared and he doesnât tolerate BS in his court. His gag orders on Trump could be argued as excessive but for the life of me he could have avoided a lot of problems by recusing himself especially because of his daughterâs party activities⌠He chose not to so I expect him to avoid any unnecessary focus on his court.
