A laudable man in his Military service.

Not. It’s far too late for Trump to be “classy.”

RIP John McCain. He was a good man, an honest man, a genuine patriot. He had a quick sense of humor, and humility. He served his constituents well. He’ll be missed.

That he truly did. I knew it was imminent, yet when they broke in to announce he had passed, well it hurt my heart. It affected me physically. That took me by surprise. But in retrospect it shouldn’t have. He has been part of the big picture for most of my life.

Wow, tuned out from everything yesterday evening and missed this announcement. Knew it would not be long after it was announced he would stop treatment but never imagined it would be so soon.

McCain was one of the “RINOs” to me for many years, but I always respected his service, and learned a new respect for him as he actually stood out and up against the current insanity of the political world on the “right” these days. He stopped being a RINO these last couple of years as I saw so many others sell themselves out. McCain remained true.

RIP Mr. McCain.

The day he stood up to that bigot who called Obama a Muslim was unforgettable. Name a politician who would do that today.

Because he was a good senator and naval offi er. I can regret what I say. Maybe I am caught up in the emotion of the moment with his passing. I am an ■■■■■■■ but sometimes have a change of heart, especially when I go to the national cemetary and hear the bugular “Taps” and the 21 gun salute.

Pay tribute in your own words, it means more. I now regret some of the things I said to him in the past. Senator McCaun was honorable, gave many years of service to our country, and some his mind when some did not want to hear it.

Start this type of rhetoric in a new thread. Let’s honour Senator McCain.

Don’t start politicalizing Senator McCain’s passing with your Trump Derangement Syndrome. Let’s honour Senator Mcain in this thread.

I gotta live with saying some harsh things about Senator McCsin. I should not have been hard on him in the past. He did his best for our country.

McCain was a hero and an inspiration to millions. I worry that all the truly great men have left the stage. RIP John McCain

I believe he genuinely did. He did his best for his Arizona constituents too, something I saw when living there for a few years. He was the real deal both as a public servant and as a leader.

Oh my lord! Rest In Peace senator McCain and may God be holding you in his arms now and giving you the peace that you do greatly deserve.

Heaven has another angel today.

Thank you.

Not many would post this sort of self-reflection. Props.

They were beautiful add added to the thread, IMO. RIP John McCain.

No doubt a defining moment in Americanism. That was America in greatness!
