I’m sure he arrived there in the twinkling of an eye
The Kushan empire promoted Religious Freedom. That was a Radical thing. The call for the most genuine, religious geniuses was widely proclaimed and many monks of many sects traveled to Kashmir to participate in this gathering.
Years ago I made a list of those in the 1st and 2nd century, who were enlightened, scholarly and wise enough to participate in this Sutra Compiling together, at a certain time and place. Jesus is on my short list, as is Nagarjuna, Ashvaghosa, Caraka, and Patanjali and a handful of other candidates who had known connections at the court of the Kushan Kings.
All historical dating are mysterious and difficult to establish, because in each case there are so many unknowns, yet these people were those who have very cosmic backgrounds already known for unrestricted and prolific efforts to reveal the most profound teachings of religion, as if they were already one with the Supreme Law.
The REAL Mahayana Sutras, differed greatly from the intellectualized and often apocryphal Sutras. This understanding conformed with my own personal experiences and uncovered memory.
Bodhisattva Samantabhabra and other Universal Bodhisattvas attended the Ceremony in the Air. These Universal Bodhisattvas arriving from Buddha-lands from everywhere, can be understood as profound functions within all beings.
Specifically, with unrestricted rebirths, coming from all directions of the Universe. Those who were specially related to this Saha Earth, pledged to appear and the primary four leaders of the propagation, who emerged from the cosmos, to be the specific Bodhisattva Cosmic scientists, continue to appear until this Saha world becomes the Buddha’s land.
