I encourage them to please allow the door to strike them in the ass on the way out.

How many needless government employees did we just get rid off?

Well, that’s efficient. Who’s next??

Serves to prove beyond doubt the purely political nature of the prosecution. If he believed in the charges and that it was anything more than politics, he would stick with it and wait to be fired.

Clearly, these prosecutions have outlived their usefulness and intended purpose.

Soon the conviction in NY will be overturned and the case in GA will be dropped after Fani is removed.

Exactly and could lead to election fraud charges against them that would actually stick.

Good riddance to bad rubbish!

Don’t let the door hit him in the butt.

I would say for the good of the country it would be best if we kind of just dropped it. It happened and it was a terrible idea. They should have went for a Truth and Reconciliation method but instead decided try and throw the book at them for what was 99% political issues. It was a waste. I would rather not see the administration try to make the same mistakes. The whole country would be better served if this was pushed into the rear view mirror. I still support Truth and Reconciliation and if they were to go that route I’d fully support it.

You disappoint me jack!

I was hoping they could get him to prosecute himself by the time it’s all over.

What happened to the man from Subway??

He self-deported

Election fraud is not the same mistake.

I will concede it would be difficult to prove unless they find some rock solid evidence.

You made me LOL very loudly.

This is a silly take.

He either would have been fired anyway OR his prosecutions would go nowhere because Trump now has immunity.

It’s pointless for him to continue but it’s not because the cases have no merit. Trump did refuse to give back classified and told people to hide it. Trump did get fraudulent electors in an attempt to steal the election.

And that’s the issue. When you don’t have any evidence, or not enough evidence to even try and make it an issue, you go for Truth and Reconciliation instead. You say “We definitely had a problem here, of the political variety. Instead of going to the courts, we give you guys blanket immunity to come clean and put it on the record in front of the tribunal appointed for this occasion.”

Then you use that to foster political healing.

Ironically, Trump will soon have legal access to every classified or other government document he was charged with retaining.

No, it serves to prove that Trump won the election and literally can’t be prosecuted. Nothing else.

I agree. The deterrent to doing this again is its utter failure as a political strategy. Let that be the end of using the legal system for political purposes.
