There’s a lot there and I disagree with a lot of it. But I want to just take two claims that I really disagree with.
It is not the Democratic policy/platform to abolish ICE. If you think that it is then you’re very misinformed. Do some radical congressman say that? Sure. And some radical Republican congressmen say ■■■■■■■ crazy things. Not Republican policy.
And Democrats want all of the NATO nations to hit their defense spending goal of 2% of GDP. That hasn’t changed. It was a goal made in 2014(with a lot of pressure from Obama) and the goal is for them to hit it in 2024. Some have hit it already, and most haven’t. Takes time for them to hit that. The issue with Trump is how ■■■■■■■ ignorant he is about how NATO works. Belittling them for not hitting their goals yet, saying they owe us money(to this day he claims this and it’s one of the ■■■■■■■ stupidest things he says devoid of any knowledge) and then he claims credit for when they reaffirm their goal as if he made them do it when they made the commitment in 2014. And he damages our relationships with NATO almost every ■■■■■■■ day. He questions the relevancy of NATO and sucks up to Russia when Europe is building up their defenses because of Russian aggression.
Australia and the USA recorded their first COVID-19 case around about the same time. Similarly, Australia and the USA initiated restrictions in travel from China to their respective countries. Why had the USA recorded in excess of 125,500 COVID-19 deaths and Australia 104 COVID-19 deaths? Why has Florida recorded more new COVID-19 cases in a day than Australia has recorded in total?
Did D Trump work to coordinate a national, coordinated approach to purchasing ventilators, PPE etc. or did he put in place a system that required the states to bid against other states and the federal government for same?
There are precisely zero countries of similar geography, size and population to the USA. There are no comparable countries as per the specified criteria to compare the USA’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.
My state has 5 active COVID-19 cases and has recorded 9 deaths in total. Relative to Western Australia and Australia Florida rates extremely poorly in its handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.
