Israeli vs Poland: How to lose friends and influence people

It’s been 70 years since WW2. All of the good and bad people from that war are in their 90s if they’re not dead.

Why in the world is Israel still harping on what went on during the war? What do they want from Poland? Reparations for bad individuals who took advantage of the situation to blackmail Jews? Happened in every country - just as there were good people who tried to rescue them.

Why in the world is Israel still harping on what went on during the war? What do they want from Poland? Reparations for bad individuals who took advantage of the situation to blackmail Jews? Happened in every country - just as there were good people who tried to rescue them.

The Nationalists in Poland have been trying to downplay their nations history in terms of it’s collaboration in the holocaust.

It’s not a good idea to let people or Govts whitewash history like that without pushback. Particularly the nationalistic types.
