Amid the reports last couple of days that Israel would eschew striking Iran in favor of an op in Rafah ok’ed by the White House, Iran officials have sounded increasingly hawkish - apparently in mistaken belief that Israel would not strike. Easy to make threats knowing that no escalation is coming.
Now that it appears that Iran has been tricked, will Iran follow through on their threats ?

How many US highways will be blockaded now? How many will die because ambulances or medical teams couldn’t reach them or visa versa? How many articles in the MSM will reveal this atrocity?

This looks like a face saving attempt from Israel in response to Irans rather weak face saving retaliation.
Lets hope this draws a close to the current saber rattling on both sides.
