Do we know if Biden created the terms of the ceasefire both sides have agreed to abide by?
Look at it this way…had Biden’s lax sanction policy not allowed Iran access to untold billions, the funding for hezbolla to toss rockets at Israelis may not have been there from the getgo. Without hezbolla tossing rockets at Israelis, this ceasefire may not have occurred…so, thanks Joe…good job.

This is a tough one. Lebanon can clearly see the destruction that was heaped on Gaza. They also can clearly see that Israel is fully capable of doing the same thing to Lebanon. Obviously, the Lebanese want no part of that. But will they be able to keep Hezbollah under control? That is the million-dollar question.
In any case, I have no doubt that Israel will continue to go after high value targets in Lebanon after the cease fire.

I’ve always said that Lebanon is literally the unluckiest country in the world. They can’t control all their territory (Hezbollah has owned the southern part of the country since the early 2000s and in the 80s it was basically taken over forcefully by the PLO and the Syrians) and the non-state actors who control that territory love picking fights with Israel, Lebanon’s much more powerful neighbor.
