It was a year ago when Luigi shot a man in the back on video because He didn’t like the way he ran his business. Had someone named Antoine Johnson shot someone named Leroy Brown in the back, he would have been tried, convicted and sentenced six months ago. Yet barely any movement at all with the Italian Stallion. The privileged, liberal, elite white boy’s case moves at a snail’s pace. At this point what new information are they expecting?

Are you watching his case? Could you update on what’s been happening? Most court cases move at a glacial pace, in case you haven’t noticed.
The murder was a little less than a year ago and Mangione’s been incarcerated since his arrest. He’ll be convicted of murder and will continue his incarceration, hopefully for the rest of his life (which could end up being execution).
So what’s the complaint?
Outside of the federal system (which is still slow in many places) there are no more speedy trials. Especially not in packed criminal trials

It’s almost as if the OP could have researched if the Luigi case is taking longer than similar cases. That seems like a lot of work though.

I’m not sure there is a problem here…the defendant had his right for speedy trial unless I’m missing something.
Well I for one will absolutely be pissed off if anyone shoots @LeroyBrown . I like his run-by postings.

I’m not sure what race has to do with this.
It is alleged that the police didn’t have a warrant when they searched his bag, so the defense is moving that the gun and journal can’t be used as evidence. It might have taken extra time to gather more corroborating evidence. I don’t know, the case wasn’t high on my list of things to care about.
I don’t have much time for anything beyond drive-bys these days. When I started here, many moons ago, I was in IT, and as long as I kept hitting the metrics, my boss was fine with me hanging out on Hannity. Fast forward to now, and I’m a Direct Service Provider giving support to adults with mental disabilities, and I don’t have time during the day to post, and just sort of lost interest in the tete-a-tete.
