No it was related to when David Duke endorsed Trump.
And not quite the same thing…Trump wasn’t harangued for not disavowing David Duke. He was made fun of for doing his usual schtick of first denying he knew Duke endorsed him, then denying he knew anything about David Duke.
Which was funny because in 2000 when he ran for President on the Reform Party ticket, he got out because Duke was in the party…and he did manage to call him a bigot then.
So they got on him for hemming and hawing as usual instead of just giving some “straight talk”.

Tell you what…if Biden is asked about Spencer and pulls what Trump pulled when asked about Duke, I’ll point it out.
Yep. President Trump forgot how much he hated Duke 15 years earlier. He wasn’t even sure who the guy was…like many of the people he appointed but they quit or got indicted.
