Is anyone willing to agree in connection with the sports debate that there is a difference between a person who matures as a male and then transitions, and a person who has male body parts but who never develops as a male because of puberty blockers and then develops as a female because of hormone therapy? It would seem to me that these two situations should be treated differently.

Different yes.

And the latter should be considered physical child abuse.
