A recently released message from the Islamic State is shedding new light on their future plans to attack western targets; encouraging their supporters to intentionally set devastating wildfires in the forests of Europe and North America.

“The Islamic State terror group may have recently lost its leader, but a media outlet affiliated with the group is urging followers to continue to literally set ablaze new paths of terror and destruction,” reports Fox News.

“Oh monotheists [followers of ISIS], ignite fires in the forests and fields, and we are addressing especially those who live in Europe and America, for they are painful to them,” the poster read, according to MEMRI.

“Ignite fires in the forests of America, France, Britain and Germany, for they are painful to them,” the text reads.

American forced conducted an operation in northern Syria in recent days that ended in the death of ISIS mastermind Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

In response, authorities in Europe have stepped-up security for any retaliatory attack from known ISIS sympathizers living within their borders.
