It looks like India-Pakistan is about to go hot again. Militants killed 26 Indian civilians in an attack in Kashmir last week. Diplomats have been expelled, the border crossings closed, diplomatic agreements suspended and both countries militaries have been placed in a state of heightened readiness. Forces have been trading small arms fire across the border. PM Modi has made a public statement that he has authorized the military to retaliate for the attack. India has previously carried out air strikes in response to militant attacks in Kashmir. These two nations possess over 300 nuclear warheads between them, and have fought 2 previous wars over control of Kashmir.
