In what ways do you believe this crisis will permanently alter businesses and education in America?

I know its early but I wonder if that is why the death rate is lower in germany.

That sounds like a fun trip. How long were you out there?

A wood burning sauna on the edge of a lake is the best! Have you ever run out of a sauna in the winter and jump in a lake with a hole chopped in the ice, or roll in the snow, buck naked?

And that pronunciation thing really gets to me, I always use the correct pronunciation even when it makes people look at me like I have two heads.

I prefer online only because we are an hour drive one way to any sort of store that carries something such as clothing etc. Seriously, the only thing here in town that carries socks and underwear is the small Family Dollar that recently opened. So I am not making a 2.5 hour trip to buy something or to find out once I am there they do not have what I want.

It’s not a one size fits all situation in regards to online vs. brick and mortar or anything else for that matter.

Few weeks in Russia each time. When in Finland spent few days in Helsinki area. Winter and summer. Travelled alone. More magazines in the Helsinki book shops then I have ever seen in one place! Maybe you already know all of this:

There has been no offer to refund any of the tuition we have paid for this semester. I honestly don’t see it happening either.

No I didnt know this, I must admit my knowledge of Finland is limited to the prominent Finnish ancestry in the upper peninsula of michigan where I grew up. My mother and her brothers and sisters are 100% finnish and they are all voracious readers as are their children.

I do read a lot. Mostly history and other nonfiction although I do enjoy sci-fi.

Right no I’m reading “The Dead And Those About To Die - D-Day: The Big Red One At Omaha Beach” by John McManus.

Oh ya, grew up doing that. There is no better feeling then running out of a sauna naked into the cold winter air and floating in the water. It literally feels like you are levitating in air.

Agreed, but it is really had to explain to those that never tried it.

Most people cant understand living in those long winters, cant say I blame their lack of understanding!

Hmmm…I just bought a present for my grand nieces birthday non-party and instead of buying it at Target I bought it at target online and am having it sent to her house.
But when its all over its back to birthday parties.

I took saunas in Russia — weird when you get gently whipped by a big burly guy with a bunch of freshly cut tree twigs before walking essentially naked thru snow to a literally ice cold swimming pool. Funny memories.

Got a flu shot this year along with my son and daughter. We all had flu (verified with test).

Sure. If you believe the laws of our physical universe are not constant then anything could happen. Can’t argue with that.

Thanks for sharing.

Good for you for trying. Did you enjoy it?

The switches are supposed to be birch, they get the blood flowing and helps you sweat out the toxins in your body.

Oops - should I delete it?

They’ll get their credits though, right? And continue with classes.

We are getting a pro-rated refund of what we paid for dorm. Yay for something, I guess.

Absolutely not. I’d like a bit more of a description of what a gentle whipping from a burly guy with fresh tree twigs entails though.
