Yes, they have transitioned to distance learning and will get their credits. They will not hold commencement ceremony for those graduating however.

Many of my relatives have saunas including my parents.

When I moved to the sweltering heat of Texas, I still sought a house with a sauna!

Yeah, my daughter is graduating too. Sadly anticlimactic.

Wood. It must be wood. Preferably in a cedar shack.

Yooper? Me too. Near Houghton.

Mine’s not graduating yet. Couple more years to go, but I feel for all those seniors in HS and college who don’t get the ceremony. It’s a big let down for them.

In the big picture though, if we miss a few of these non essential things in order to keep this at bay, I’m not going to complain. The world and our psyches will be fine if we miss some sports games and such. People need to refocus on the important things IMHO.

OMG…I was a Wildcat for 2.5 years in Marquette. I list it as the most fun during a 2.5 year period in my entire life. In fact, second place, isn’t even close.

Some neighbors of mine moved to Houghton a few years back. Pretty town with lovely neighborhoods, they have loved it.

My parents are both Finnish but I was born and raised in the US.

I got a shot and didn’t get the flu. But then i’ve only had the flu 3 times in nearly 67 years now.

No kidding? Me too.

Have you guys seen “Joe Pera Talks With You.” ?

In which Joe Pera, a middle school choir teacher, presents to viewers the importance of Northern Michigan geology, especially iron. Also copper, azurite, tourmaline, and Lake Superior agate.

Yes very soothing.

Have to ask, does anyone ever have a heart attack when they hit that ice cold water?

That’s not what worries the guys.

Thank you. I wasn’t but I am now and he’s what I remember. :sunglasses:

It’s an amazingly wholesome and feel-good show from Adult Swim. The second season just finished. All of it is great.

MTU here. I feel the same way!
