I’m sure the same chart comes up for Wham’s “Last Christmas”. (And even worse with covers.)
I consider that one a sick reflection of our culture:
Last Christmas i did you,
but the next day you went and did someone else.
So this Christmas, to avoid sadness,
I’m going to do someone special.
