The article incorrectly characterizes the data. That is not data about the number of crimes committed by undocumented immigrants in 2021. It is the number of prior convictions for a particular crime that someone arrested by border control had.

Crime by anyone is not acceptable. Given that immigrants, whether legal or illegal, commit fewer crimes than native-born US citizens, if we want to lower the crime rate in the US allow more immigrants in.

We seriously need to stop assuming people who start their lives in America by breaking the law give a damn about our laws. We have imported enough illegal fentanyl to kill us all…God only knows how many people the cartels have sold into sex slavery…there are hundreds of thousands of “gotaways” who escaped the border patrol while those overwhelmed patriots were processing the folks who turned themselves in, rescuing people from drowning, trying to save children who got left in some farmers field or some ranchers garden. The person who wrote something about “bringing in more ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ the gotaways have all kinds of potential to do bad things. Biden turning over the border to the cartels has given them a chance to overwhelm the border patrol with all the people you see daily trudging thru the rio grande giving all the gotaways a chance to get away.
That idiot Biden has committed an impeachable offense in my opinion with his intentionally stupid border policies. It’ll never happen but that fraud in the White House has destroyed what was a reasonably secure border.
