Your rustled jimmies are over a meme, that’s why you’re barking at my ankles right now, and you don’t even count worth a spit when it comes to American politics. Get a hold of yourself.
Uncle Dick was always an establishment guy.
I can only imagine the mouth-frothing and spittle on the op’s computer or phone as he typed all this tripe. Totally unhinged.
Just an fyi, normal people don’t talk like this, they engage in civil discussion. I can’t help you here.
Normal people like me respond exactly like this to triggered stupidity. Getting triggered by a meme and barking at my ankles until I allow you to slither off with the last word is mentally unstable.
Grrreat you take care now and watch out for those slippery roads!
Slither on, libs. Slither on.
Are you going to let me have the last word or not?
Yes, but only since you insist that you’re not mentally capable of letting anyone else.
Thank you and greetings from a fellow toker!
For medicinal purposes obvs, (arthritis) health being a lottery and all of that.
I digress.
You have the floor.
Doesn’t that though explain those who are in the liberal positions of power? Assuming the people here are genuine, is it not for them based on a belief in Collectivism? (Personally, I view it as phony Collectivism as those in power are not part of the Collective and stand above and apart from it, but I digress.) Isn’t also based on a belief that there are these people out there that, once “anointed” by the “process” are endowed with the “ANSWER” to solve the problems that the little people face?
Oh most definitely. You can easily see it here. “Wrong side of history…” and all that.
Policies are theories. And for theories to be made manifest they need statutes or regulations. And for statutes and regulations to be passed there needs to be compromise; this because of our beautiful and elegant separation of powers, representative government, states rights and judicial review. All this to say, it is almost impossible to assess the efficacy of a policy in its nascent, undiluted form, in a vacuum over the required time necessary for such assessment. Perhaps looking at other countries can provide some valid assessment, but as the USA is a constant and dynamic work in progress, looking here to accurately evaluate policy is rarely 100% conclusive.
It’s worse than that. Even if you eliminated ALL discretionary spending, including ALL defense spending - zeroed it ALL out - we would still be running in the red.
That would be true, if the policies were new and not a continuation of failed belief systems.
Neither party has “the key to a better America.” Putting too much faith in political parties that care more about their own power than anything else is a big part of the problem. “The key to a better America” is the people, not government.
Because…
…we collectively spend beyond our means. Happy?
That you were honest? Absolutely. Who know virtue signaling for feels had a price.
