You specifically asked why the CEO is to blame in a company. If he is the man in charged, then he doesnât have anyone telling him how much he can spend, what new models he can introduce and things like that.
You were trying to do an apples to oranges comparison between the CEO and President. Donât deny it.
Good we can agree Trump isnât to blame for any failures on part of the government.
that also means Trump isnât credited for any success on part of the government.
No there are THREE branches to hold accountable. House, Senate, President. But the president IS limited by the house and senate in what the office can and canât do. Example the request for a few billion to purchase PPE gear. He didnât have any further funds he could legally use for it, so sent a request to congres. congress upped the amount to 8 billion.
Now that said â if congress felt at anytime before the request, that money was needed and nothing was being done â they HAD full authority to draft a bill, telling how much money they would appropriate, and what it would be used for.
Incorrect. There are things the president can do without congress. Example â directing EPA to scale back the upcoming fuel standards. Those were implimented by a previous president. Just as an example. BUT many things that the president does, is in direct relation to laws passed by congress who shares in the success failure. Example of the fuel milage debat â congress passed a law kicking the can to the executive branch to set things like that. So Bammaâs failure is more on him less on congress. Trumps success in reduction of it is more on him, less on congress. Notice the less on congress in both instances because the only thing they did â well in the past â give EPA authority to set the regulation. EPA is an executive branch agency directed by the President.
NO one has blamed the president of the virus. Not a single person (Although im sure you can fine 1 - its def not wide scale).
The blame is the federal governments agencies response to the virus. Which is under the direction of President Trump.
again -Does anyone blame Trump for the pandemic?
Polls show that MOST Americans blame him for the terrible response to the pandemic. Not the pandemic itself.
