If Trump was smart, he would resign soon

I think Trump is in trouble in 2020 for the same reason HRC lost.

Folks get tired of the drama.

Hillary is associated with Bill, and Bill was a handful. There was a sort of hope that she would not be entrenched in the same nonsense he was, but all of that email nonsense left me feeling less inspired and tired of her nonsense, and a lot of other Dems felt the same way.

We were just tired of it.

And Trump won in part because of that.

But the drama is now all centered on the GOP. You have kids in cages, corporations getting big breaks and the “little guy” getting next to nothing, the Senate stopping a raise in the minimum wage, costs of Meds and College out of control. Not to mention Trump being ham handed and inciting racial tensions with his outbursts.

He is like that crazy girl that you date, after awhile you just want some peace and quiet, find a nice girl that won’t key your car if you’re 5 minutes late picking her up. Excitement over time breeds exhaustion, I think Americans are a bit done with all of this and just want a President they can ignore.

Nothing like rhetoric from the left.

Have you considered the possibility that criminal charges would be warranted and not just vindictive?

If Trump did nothing wrong then he has nothing to worry about. Or are you in the business of defending criminals just because they share the same political affiliations as you?

I think the drama is stirred up by the dems. So I agree, people are tired of it.

Really? You honestly think that he had nothing to do with the drama and ALL dems fault?

While we have scores of internet warriors typing, smearing, and crying over the Trump administration…

We also have HUNDREDS of working class Americans to busy to do more than VOTE for a President that finally put policy in place to help THEM.

2020 will be FUNN. With two n’s for twice the fun of 2016.

What makes you think he would stop doing that as a Private citizen? He was holding rallies the month after he was sworn in, for no other reason than to soak in the adulation.

He could do this as he pleases and folks will show. He could hand pick candidates for office and stump for them. He could start a Trump Network and folks would tune in. And all of that he could charge money for. He could either destroy or prop up the candidacy of any GOP member and be a kingmaker all the while enjoying his life without consequence.

Now I know he wouldn’t do it, but it would make sense too.

You realize those pictures of kids in cages is from the Obama era right?

Maybe you don’t.

Your opinion is shared by a minority of Americans.

…and media outlets everywhere.

:tv:

I know that unaccompanied minors were held for up to 3 days in these types of facilities during Obama’s tenure, and there were a lot of Dems that were unhappy about even that amount of time.

But Trump upped it by actually separating kids from their parents and keeping them much longer in these facilities. Including babies who had to be tended to by other kids. Little kids have died in these facilities under Trump’s watch.

That is terrible. Unforgivable.

Interesting you bring up my greatest fear about this dangerous sociopath. If does lose the election, he will be the most dangerous ex president ever. He will rail and rail and rail about how the process was rigged and his rallies will be even uglier than they have been. He will run again in 2024 and may win because the economy is due for a correction anyway and could be the end of the next president. No, I’m afraid the threat won’t end until he is dead or too ill to speak.

That’s a very fair point.

I doubted Warren but her policy push seems to really win people over. .

If you support Trump’s impeachment why won’t the Republican Senators support Trump’s impeachment?

Your OP is tainted by too much misinformation and speculation.

  1. The SDNY is under the DoJ.
  2. Trump can pardon himself and his family. He doesn’t need Pence to do it.
  3. If Trump wins in 2020, there will be no way he will be impeached and convicted. There will not be 67 Senators who will vote to convict. Impeachment without a conviction, means nothing. Ask Bill Clinton.

I’m ALMOST thinking it would be better to give him his 8 be done with it. I’m not sure people realize what a mess it will be with him trying to tear down our electoral process and with millions of willing accomplices.

Donald’s base is not tired of his drama. Quite the contrary. For a group once so committed to the rhetoric of character and values they have certainly been enthusiastic about rolling in the filth with their Boss Hogg.

The question is whether enough of the rest of the voting public is tired of it all, and actually shows up at the polls.

Of course, we’ll see in 2020. After watching the testimony by Mueller, the cries of fake news have amplified as opposed to quelled. If Barr indeed comes up with some dirt from his investigation, I can see the entire Mueller report revealed as the partisan news letter it is, and the dismantling of the democrats trust in all matters pertaining to Trump. What has their focus been on the last couple of years?
