That’s not how that works. Separation of Church and State. If a politician, especially a law maker, is found to be corrupt, they need to be removed from office and prosecuted. Period. We have laws specifically against this very thing.
I agree. And if he/she/it is found to have acted corruptly, but has repented, the law should still apply to their actions. I agree.
But someone can repent and become incorrupt after having been corrupt. That is the good news Jesus brings, but which the unforgiving antichristians reject. To them you can never be forgiven for doing wrong.
Their remedy is: either get in step with the globalist agenda and we will justify your actions as not reaching the criminal threshhold; or walk out of step with the globalist agenda and we will pillory you for every action you have taken that we can paint as objectionable, going back to things you may have written or said or done as a teenager. And if we can’t find anything bad enough, we’ll make stuff up.
When did she confess to her crimes? When has she admitted wrong-doing? When has she repented? When she does, I’ll think better of her. But she still needs to suffer consequences.
“Man, back when things mattered, a chamber of Congress Subpoenaing the White House for alleged conspiracy to shake down a country for aid in exchange for damaging a political opponent would rock the nation to the core.
But now? It’s just Wednesday.”
