Those on the left love to give the impression that life in many other countries is so much better than in the US. The fact is that in many countries (even wealthier ones and those that are more socilist) there’s plenty of people who struggle:

Around one-third of Britain’s children – about 4.5 million – now live in relative poverty, often measured as living in a household that earns below 60% of the national median income after housing costs, a government report published in April found.
England has been in economic decline relative to most of Western Europe for decades. If this is surprising to you then you haven’t been paying attention.
Here’s some things that came up regarding Germany:
Cost of living and economy: The rising cost of living is a top concern, with inflation impacting purchasing power. The economy is also facing challenges, including underinvestment, slow growth, and potential threats to traditional industries.
Poverty and inequality: A significant portion of the population is at risk of poverty, and there are concerns about growing social and economic inequality, particularly affecting children, the elderly, and people with disabilities.
Housing: Problems include a shortage of affordable housing, with a high percentage of households experiencing overcrowding or high housing costs.
Job market: There is a growing divide between secure, permanent jobs and more precarious employment, such as mini-jobs and other gig work, which can offer lower pay and less security.
The practice of calling anyone, or any group, trash has no place on this board. It isn’t debate, or discussion, it is simply combative posting and trolling. Anyone, on any side I catch doing it will receive a lengthy suspension.
