I feel much safer! Thanks ICE!

So then you’d agree that we should pull back all the extra ICE agents in Minnesota until the investigation is complete as well.

Why would law enforcement pull back on enforcing the law?

When I get a speeding ticket I don’t expect the cops to stop enforcing speeding laws until my trial.

Nope the ice agents are not breaking the law. In fact they are enforcing the law.
It is not their fault your cult leaders are racketing up the hate and telling the loons in your party that violence is the way to get what they want.

Because the Petulant Children want their way?

So when someone gets shot because of a 1000% increase of ICE agents in their community, there’s no consideration that pulling back those agents might also be prudent?

Why can’t the Petulant Children just go home and let law enforcemnt do their jobs unobstructed?

There’s a fundamental disagreement here as to who are the “petulant children” in this situation.

Nope. They are not the ones breaking the law.
Why do you progs always want to punish the law abiding and give the criminals a pass?
Criminal kills someone. The democrat’s solution take the guns away from the law abiding.
Criminal gets themselves killed by law enforcement. Punish those upholding the law and let the criminals break the law.
What might be prudent is the democrat leaders calling for calm instead of telling their loons to get crazier.

Your petulant children as welcome to stand on the sidewalk and call ice nasty names. They are welcome to carry their signs and peacefully protest.
What they are not allowed to do is attack ice agents because they disagree with the law.
Your leaders need to lead and instead of urging their parties’ idiots to break the law. They should be working on changing the law if they disagree with it. They won’t because they refuse to work with the GOP who they consider the enemy.

I suppose it’s necessary to exaggerate leftist violence in order to downplay J6.

The videos say otherwise

I suppose you have to downplay the violence during the summer of love and now because it is hard to admit your cult members are not saints. Conservatives are the enemy, and they deserve to be killed.

Ya know, I can maybe understand the first shot through the windshield, but two shots through the driver’s side window not so much.

A cop on the side of attempted cop killers is just a crazy to thing about

I agree with that but there is an opportunity for ICE to review what happened to determine if any changes updates or new processes need to be implemented.

An article I read in the newspaper said he was wearing one, but that video has not been released yet. Why he was also recording with his phone is anyone’s guess, but I suspect that he was planning on posting it in social media to show how flagrantly ridiculous that woman was acting instead of complying with police commands.

Another good question (that will probably never be answered) is why did she attempt to flee with her wife/girlfriend standing outside the car (who was also video recording for some unknown purpose.)

It was a two-point promise … Close the border and deport those illegals already here. Had he just closed the border and left the resident illegals alone, there would have been a good reason to be upset. The only reason you and your ilk are upset (besides for the fact that Trump was elected) is because you were (are) against both prongs of his promise.

Giddy is the same perception that the right had of the reaction on the left regarding the death of Ashli Babbitt, Charley Kirk and the attempts on Trump’s life. If you were honest, you would be equally critical of your ilk.

There is a good recent commentary by Megan McArdle of the Washington post on perception bias, titled “Why people see what they want in protests and police shootings.” It’s worth the read.

Not at all.

Every president up to this point has used ICE to deport people. And up to this point no other president has used ICE and deportation as a cultural wedge. Trump could have easily continued ICE operations and even ramped up enforcement. What he didn’t need to do is sick platoons of federal agents on communities and implement quotas. People support deportations. They don’t support how Trump is implementing them.

Personally, I think that she didn’t intend to hit him and didn’t think that she was going to hit him. Her attitude just before punching out of there was mocking defiance, not anger. (Why she left without her wife though, is a mystery.) It really doesn’t matter though. The only thing that matters is whether or not it was reasonable for Ross (the officer) to believe that his life was imminently threatened. That is the basic test for the justified use of lethal force. Not what observers think … what he thought.
