When faced with the prospect of ongoing violence between two extremist groups in a city and it is found that one of those extremist groups was setting up on roofs with weapons at the ready …the worst response to that is “Is it illegal?”
Not exactly. If they are not doing anything illegal, the po-leece could face a civil rights lawsuit. I am armed nearly every time I leave my house. Should the po-leece hassle me too? Maybe somebody could label me a sniper?

Explain to me how people setting themselves up on rooftops overlooking where a protest is going to be with weapons caches is self defense.
If they are not shooting anyone, explain how it’s anybody else’s business. If they are committing a crime, arrest them. If they are not mind your own business. If they are not doing any thing illegal, what do you expect the cops to do?
