How the Biden Administration's "Open Borders" game works

Make the jobs dry up and deport.
It’s clear you can’t just stop at the border alone. If people know they are home free if they run the border gauntlet they will just keep trying until, they make it through.
Biden has put an end to work place enforcement and interior enforcement. That message gets passed home.

Go on welfare and live off middleclass Americans. That’s the ultimate endgame for the Left.

They won’t be denied if they are in the country under asylum protection. If they are truly in the country illegally… then send their asses home.

Of course, that’s going to take some serious effort at interior enforcement.

I agree. And we should do it. If anyone snuck through the border…. Whether under the fence… through an open part… over the fence… in the trunk etc…… they should not get to stay.

I’m for heavily enforcing that. However it is difficult because people who snuck in typically lay low and don’t commit crimes. The alternative is stop and frisk on steroids which I’m not ok with.

Stop and frisk based on foreign sounding accents etc would be necessary for 100% enforcement. A lesser but still strong enforcement (more so than today) would still be enough to,send a message that you are never home free as long as you are here illegally.

The Left act like there’s an unlimited number of jobs in the US for all the world’s impoverished, uneducated, unskilled, non-English speaking labor. They think that all people are going to get jobs, it’s utter ■■■■■■■■■ The Democrat politicians though don’t give two ■■■■■ about that, the goal is to grow the welfare state with their new found open border approach:

“Kolken tells me his client is a legitimate asylum seeker with what he feels is an air tight case, but because the system is so backlogged with illegitimate asylum claims, he’s not sure they’ll ever get a chance to argue it in court with her next check in 8 years into the future,” he added.

“It made me realize the Biden administration is basically providing backdoor amnesty for anyone who wants to show up at the border,” Matthew Kolken said to Melugin.

The surge in border crossings, coupled with the lack of court dates and deportation, has created chaos and overwhelmed the system.

“The accelerating growth in the Court’s backlog has transformed the problem into an even more daunting challenge,” the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse report said.

“It’s a simple act driving an unprecedented surge at our border which Mexican journalist @CabelloAuden dubbed the ‘selfie factor’ – migrants cross into the US, snap a shot and send it back to those waiting to decide whether to come now,” Fox News correspondent Griff Jenkins said.

You would be ok with that? Getting pulled over for no other reason other than your skin color or accent

I made it clear that lesser levels of interior enforcement would be largely effective, did I not?

You did.

What do you consider lesser levels?

Certainly it would include not ignoring a known illegal because he had not committed a crime, as we have as a policy today. There is no legislative basis for that distinction. As to specific tactics of interior enforcement that would work and be appropriate, that would be something for the professionals to work out.
I believe it was once common to raid businesses that sought out illegals to undercut salaries, for example.

Is this a policy? If it’s know beyond a reasonable doubt they should be arrested. The problem is how can you be sure without potentially violating civil rights. That’s usually why committing a crime is the easiest way to identify. But the problem there is illegal immigrants tend to not commit crimes.

There’s been alot of discussion on this forum about something called “Insurrection”…

You want a real insurrection…Look to the southern border and what Joseph Robinette Biden, Alejandro Mayorkas, and Kamala Harris have done to America…

On Purpose.

“WASHINGTON (AP) — Facing bipartisan criticism over its approach to immigration, the Biden administration on Thursday announced new rules that require authorities to only pursue migrants who recently crossed into the country without permission or are deemed to pose a threat to public safety.“

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas told reporters that the new policy was based on the reality that the U.S. can’t go after all people in the country without legal status and shouldn’t try because many “have been contributing members of our communities for years.”

This makes sense. You have to draw the line somewhere.

Again if you know they are illegally in the country (aka snuck across the border and wasn’t caught) then once caught they should be deported. That seems to be what the policy is, right?

If you’ve watched Fox the last few days Bill Melugin has interviewed several migrants, young men in their it appears early to mid 20’s…

They aren’t even hiding that they aren’t coming to America for Asylum…

They are coming to take jobs and asking to go to sanctuary cities…NY, Philly, Chicago…

Border crossers claiming asylum are being given court dates to have their cases heard nearly a decade out. At the same time, the nation’s immigration court backlog has now topped three million under President Joe Biden.

As hundreds of thousands of border crossers and illegal aliens — most with invalid asylum claims — flock to the United States-Mexico border in the hopes of being released into American communities, many are receiving check-in and hearing dates well into the future.

Every day, Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is releasing thousands of border crossers and illegal aliens into the U.S. interior. Those released are given Notices to Appear (NTA) before a federal immigration judge at a later date while others are getting dates for when they must next check-in with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.

According to Fox News’s Bill Melugin, a female border crosser who recently arrived in Texas from Colombia was given a date to merely check-in with ICE agents — not a court date. That check-in date in New York City is in 2031.

If you don’t believe me just look at the posted link it includes photos of notices to appear, in 2029 and 2031.

People told us in the last presidential election campaign that Biden was an honorable and honest person, he would be boring but we could trust him…

God were those people wrong.

In his own way Biden is far more a chaos agent than Trump ever could be with this border nightmare…He’s not honorable and certainly not honest. Biden is a disgusting fraud…

I’m sure you wrote that as a joke but you aren’t far off…

Biden’s border fiasco has essentially put America into a business partnership with the Mexican cartels who now control the border and who crosses.

We don’t…They do.

This was published on December 14…

"WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, House Committee on Homeland Security Chairman Mark E. Green, MD (R-TN) issued the following statement after the Committee released additional portions of transcribed interviews conducted with the U.S. Border Patrol chief patrol agents responsible for the sectors along the Southwest border. In the interviews, Border Patrol leadership confirmed the unprecedented influence the criminal cartels wield at the Southwest border, detailed the numerous ways these groups take advantage of the chaos and anti-enforcement policies under Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, and described the abuses and atrocities committed by these organizations against individuals seeking to get to the Southwest border:

“In these shocking transcripts, chief patrol agents not only shed a light on the unprecedented control exercised by the criminal cartels at our Southwest border, but they also confirmed that Americans are ‘living in the theater of engagement.’ This means that the policies of Secretary Mayorkas have ceded ground along our border to these heartless criminals and have allowed their malign activities to destabilize cities and towns across the country.

“From overwhelming Border Patrol agents with mass crossings to purposefully putting the lives of migrants—including children—in danger, these cartels will stop at nothing to smuggle criminals across the border and deadly drugs into our communities, all while abusing, trafficking, and profiting off of vulnerable individuals. Secretary Mayorkas’ refusal to enforce the law and remove incentives for illegal crossings is enabling the cartels’ booming business model. This is completely unacceptable. Homeland Republicans are committed to holding Secretary Mayorkas accountable for allowing criminal cartels with no respect for human life to control our border.” “Now Nobody Crosses Without Paying:” Senior Border Patrol Agents Describe Unprecedented Cartel Control at Southwest Border – Committee on Homeland Security
