Dems want more women on corporate boards to be in the bill. If that isn’t reason enough to know that they are just screwing around while Rome burns there isn’t much more I can say. Cheerio.

Just vote on what’s in the bill. Don’t hold America hostage (the term Dems have used for this sort of action) by refusing to pass the part of the bill that everyone agrees to. Then, if Democrats think more should be done, let them propose another bill, through the House.
If that is a good bill, then let it be on Republicans if they vote against it.

That really should be two questions. If Dems think parts of the proposed bill should not exist, then let them oppose that portion. That may have to be negotiated.
For additional things that should be added, let that be part of a different bill.
Then we get something out fast.

Pelosi’s stimulus bill calls for $300 million for National Endowment for the Arts. I guess that’s needed to pay for all the statues of Trump that should be placed in every city square in the near future.
