There is some truth in that but JFK died young and who could have known what a political mess LBJ would make of the Vietnam war, things may have been much different if JFK had not been killed. JMO
It’s unfortunate you won’t see my response. In any case I’ve already addressed the false claim, back when it was first made. There isn’t a shred of truth to it. But alas, you choose to continue with your vendetta, simply because I’m not 100% in lockstep with you.
there was no false claim. You credited Mitchell (D), Foley (D) and Clinton (D)–ALL Democrats, for what Newt (R) and Kasich (R) achieved over the objections and through the obstructions of all those D’s. It could not be more obvious that your claim to be conservative is a fraud. I previously thought Nancy Pelosi (is that you Nancy?) was the only one who could ever be mentally deranged enough to cite an all D panel and call it “Bipartisan”.
More than a claim. Anyone who is paying attention would clearly see that for the most part my responses have been and still are conservative.
Where I stray, is when it comes to 100% lockstep party loyalty. On command, I’m expected to demonize as required, and to support as required. I’m expected to toe the party line when it comes to the 2020 election and the January 6th riots. None of that has anything to do with political ideology, it’s just part of being a good little Republican.
Mitchell and Foley never passed one bipartisan bill in their entire career. I do know that. You think the tax increase they past was “bipartisan?” again, is that you Nancy?
The only thing “bipartisan” was the opposition
You believe the tax increase they past in 1993 is what created the balanced budgets in 1998 that Newt and Kasich were the architects of? Again, is that you Nancy?
and you wonder why people can see through your charade.
nothing could be further from the truth. Biden won in 2020. Trump didn’t believe it, but many republicans including me do. The riots were bad, they were also not Trump’s doing.
What would you expect when someone goes back, takes someone’s comments out of context and spins them to fit their own agenda?
Back in post #32, I linked to 4 different articles sharing 4 different perspectives on the balanced budget during Clinton’s term. I selected one of them that was closest to what I believed might have been responsible.
Obviously, we disagree but that disagreement doesn’t make me a bleeding LIB.
