How long has it been since a reasonable Democrat had a leadership position?

This post exemplifies the left over the last 9 years.

Good job.

Just ignore the massive govt spending from the “great society”, and taking the value out of the currency in the 60’s by removing the silver from coins etc. Yes, things were going good after ww2 until then. WW2 ended only 15 years before at the time of Kennedy’s election.

Don’t forget the great depression happens 20 years after the federal reserve is invented. So, it failed and is still there. Kind of like the FBI and CIA after 9/11.

if you are not aware of what the democrat party is, please seek reality counseling, you’re not living in it.

The left exemplifies this view.

They lie about the right constantly and work up their base to believe su h ■■■■■■■■ as Trump is the H word and gonna send all the libs to camps.

Y’all should invest in some mirrors and try some self reflection. At the least, some honesty.

Yet they enrich Iran and therefore aid and abet Iran in a war against Israel.
How is this possible ???

How exactly do you drag a sitting President kicking and screaming? I do agree, Newt and his Republican house was the architect. But he couldn’t have done it without Clinton’s support.

What I find to be fascinating is that both Republicans and Democrats produced detailed analysis supporting their claim as to who was responsible. I personally side with the Republicans, but I also believe Clinton had some minor role to play.

Not since JFK, it’s been all downhill & a disaster since then.

Allways.

He has positively surprised me.

he did not have Clinton’s support. Clinton vetoed what he did as often as he could and then signed the EXACT same bill later taking credit for it. only a lib would credit Clinton with supporting it. The only thing clinton supported, was clinton

Here are four very different takes on what happened. The first one actually credits Reagan for the balanced budget.

I lean towards the second one by the Hoover Institution.

Newt was willing to shut down the government…

Yes he did…he was willing to go against his party since he really didn’t have option.

That’s when he made declaration then era of big government is over…then came George Bush.

 I guess that’s one way of saying it.

Don’t believe The Myth.

“Cut spending”! What!!!

of course you do, it gives all of the credit to the very people who fought it tooth and nail all the way, democrats. sorry, but the facade is blown. You are and always have been a lib pretending to be a conservative. Foley and Mitchell did not cut entitlement spending one iota. They did raise taxes, which I’m sure you were hapy about. Gotta get those “rich” people with jobs

I dont know about the last good democrat but i always likes truman. An honest farmer and was always kept in the dark by fdr. I even heard he was mocked by the elites. Just my opinion.
