How does kicking people off Medicaid make us great?

unemployment is low in the US.

He can find a job.

Then say he won’t.

How does it help you and me to have a lazy bum with no insurance?

if he goes to the hospital, the tax payers fund the treatment.

Allan

Ok…then no “gimme” for him.

They are losing their health insurance, which indeed a benefit to them.

obamacare will be gutted.

We predictably got off on a tangent about the work requirement - which is a trigger word for many, despite the fact that a vast majority of MC reciptients work, are disabled, care give or are in school - 92%

The GOP is saving money in their bill by cutting MC payments, by having fewer people enrolled. That’s the plan facts of it. How they get fewer people enrolled is a combination of a few things.

But the question remains - why is it good for america to have fewer people insured?

Whether they aren’t insured because federal cuts to the states result in state restrictions, or the additional paper work results in fewer people enrolling, or the work requirements, is all besides the point.

Where did I say zero?

Try to be honest when posting please.

We are funding it one way or the other.

And it’s more cost effective to fund it outside of the ER.

And this bill does not change one single thing to them.
It ads a work requirement.

If lazy people contine to refuse to work then
states that choose to give them free medical care will ahve to do so at teir own expense.

Right.

We got that.

Why is that good for you and me?

He’s still gonna get sick. And instead of going to the doctor to get an antibiotic for his infection with insurance, he’s gonna wait until it becomes life threatening and then go to the ER without insurance.

Either was we pay for it. The ER trip is way more expensive than the pills.

correct, taxpayers will cover the cost either way.

Allan

You’re not answering the core question either. You’re just buying into the RW rhetoric hook line and sinker.

The savings is coming from fewer people enrolling. Only a very small amount of those people are currently able to work, but are choosing not to. 92% have jobs, are disabled, care give or are in school.

Of the 8%, most are retired. A few can’t find jobs.

Most people will be losing their insurance because of additional paper work the fed is requiring for them to keep it, along with the fed paying the states less, which will result in less outreach and resources to keep people insured, which rsults in people falling off the roles.

REGARDLESS OF ALL THAT…

The simple fact is the GOP wants to save money by kicking people out of MC. Whether you agree with how they are kicking them off or not, why is this goal - fewer insured people in america - good for you and me?

its feel good legislation for republicans.

Allan

It’s right there in the post -

You have said nothing. Nothing equals zero. What does your research show? Be honest.

What’s wrong with work requirements and checks?

Oh ■■■■■■■■■

Here is what I said:

Completely dishonest…
