How does kicking people off Medicaid make us great?

Having an unconstitutional program like medicaid does not make the US great.

Vast majority are working, or in school or caregiving.

Given how much more in taxes CA and NY pay to the federal government… I would say it reality… it’s the other way around

You answered your own question:

That’s their choice.

That’s not losing benefits. That’s refusing them.

That’s what will result in lost insurance.

I’m asking why that goal is good.

That’s not the goal.

That’s your spin.

I’m not responsible for explaining your spin.

And those that aren’t and can work should be…or not receive the benefits.

92% of MC recipients are working full or part time, caregiving, or attending school.

I’m not referring to any fraud. But that’s the target of their cuts. What does your research show about medicaid fraud?

HINT: The total is about 60 billion dollars per year. But you would not know that because you haven’t bothered to do a second’s worth of research on the subject.

From link above:

The remaining 8% of Medicaid adults reported that they are retired, unable to find work, or were not working for another reason.

So some peon who can’t find work…how does it help to take away his insurance?

…all while what YOU voted for, allowing millions and millions of illegals to enter this country and totally overwhelm our hospitals and medical system is ignored by YOU and Brandonites.

They are addressing fraud by giving the states less money. Their logic is, the states will find the fraud that makes up the shortfall.

There is no evidence there is fraud in the amount of the cuts to the states.

Retired people are eligible for Medicare. I once lost my job and had to purchase COBRA coverage until I found another job. It was expensive but you gotta do what you gotta do.

thousands of the younger generation thrown off healthcare.

will have to hope not to get in an accident or get cancer, the taxpayers will now foot the bill for the indigent.

Then … no problem for them. What’s your point?

The other 8% (by your numbers) need to do what they need to do to get medicaid. Or choose to abandon (not lose) it.

There is no evidence you that have done any research at all. Do you want me to do the work for you? Because you’re wrong. I say the fraud is worth about 60 to 100 billion dollars per year. You say it’s zero dollars per year. You people are the super bowl champs of getting things wrong.
