No, I just want to whine.
“I can pencil you in six months from now long after the issue you wanted to talk about if off the table”.
Well hell, that excuses everything rude.
loving the poutrage
There was nothing rude about what she did.
Democrats should be kicked out of restaurants.
Democrats should be kicked out of restaurants.
Agreed. Democrats should no longer be allowed in restaurants.
Mountain_Soldier:Democrats should be kicked out of restaurants.
Agreed. Democrats should no longer be allowed in restaurants.
Sweet. Good enough for the Red Hen and Sanders, good enough for democrats and any other restaurants.
At the airport, there appeared to be a number of people all at once haranguing Sinema while she was talking on the phone. How did this happen?
On the plane, who held camera?
If this is an organized harassment campaign a la Waters, then it is wrong…not to mention likely to fail in the objective.
If we were talking just an individual who happened to see a politician and that person did an “ahem…my I ask you something?” over something very important to them, that would be a different situation.
It’s being reported that the group harassing her in the bathroom belong to an organization funded by Soros.
Being reported by the Federalist.
JayJay:Karina was respectful. She asked her question, then got out of there.
Karina is an illegal resident of this country demanding that the Senator commit to a “pathway to citizenship” for her.
There is a legal process to become a citizen 800000 or more immigrants use it every year.
Mike Gallagher just asked an interesting question on his radio show…how did this person living illegally in the country get on the plane.
This Karina person disrespectfully, both to the Senator and everyone else on the plane, approached Senator Sinema so she could get her little you tube moment. She should have been instructed to go back to her seat.
I would feel the same way no matter what her political affiliation…I fly too much to believe we should be encouraging people to create situations on airplanes.
Karina needs to be arrested and deported imo.
Orygun:Meh- where’s the line? Does every politician stuck on a plane have to deal with an endless parade of people “politely asking questions” where there is no hope of retreat?
Bathrooms and airplanes are a no for me.
Where’s the line?
It depends.
Bathrooms are no nos.
Planes? Depends.
No need for a diaper on a plane, just use the bathroom.
No need for a diaper on a plane, just use the bathroom.
Ba da bing!
It appears from the video I watched that she was all the way in the rear of the plane. So she likely wasn’t impeding anybody.
I’m happy to have different standards of what is harassment from others.
The airport scene was meh (maybe a little less meh because Sinema was on the phone…could have been an act but still…). This was meh. The bathroom was wrong.
If you’re in politics and you thought the airport and plane incidents were harassment…my advice is…get out of politics.
I bet Sinema herself had less of a problem with these than others did. She appeared to only complain about the bathroom incident.
Well, did the girl film her encounter with Sinema? If so, that is sort of an act of aggression in and of itself. Why document it if not to possibly create some sort of way to make the Senator look uncaring or disinterested? Not a good way to start a conversation, to say the least.
I suppose if the girl was truly interested in letting the Senator know her feelings on a subject she could write them down and politely ask Sinema if she could read the note at her convenience, and then politely leave. Although it is still a bit confrontational it is decidedly less so than open uninvited dialogue with a person who is captive in her seat.
I dunno I like seeing politicians get bullied by their constituents. Hard to say where the line is. Not sure it’s body picketing.
Oh the poor elected officials charged with representing the people of the country is forced to put up with a question on an airplane.
That plebe should have sat down and averted her eyes.
Of course, by her own admission, the person who confronted her on the plane was not a citizen of this country and therefore Sinema was not her Senator.
There was nothing rude about what she did.
Extremely rude.
There’s a time and place for everything. That wasn’t it, imo.
I feel like an airplane is a bad place to do it. A lot of risk there if a fight breaks out.
No, I just want to whine.
Sounds about right.
Bathrooms and airplanes are a no for me.
Restaurants should be also.
There is a time and a place for everything.
