How do they know?

A little girl was abducted near here. They have video footage of her getting into a car with an “African American”. They don’t know who he is.
Question- If they don’t know who he is, how do they know he’s an American? Could’t he be a visitor from Nigeria, for instance?

Depends on how clear the footage is, and from what angle they can see his face.

African-Africans have distinctive features that are different from African Americans.

But perhaps they just got caught in the politically correct trap and were afraid to just say “black”. In this instance that may have been the more accurate thing to say.

People are conditioned.
No… scared ■■■■■■■■ that no matter what they say, there will be some who are OUTRAGED. AA is safe even if wrong.

I don’t know about that “distinctive features” thing, but you are absolutely correct about the political correct lableing.

Is this a joke? If so, it’s a ■■■■■■ one.

It must really suck to be you. :stuck_out_tongue:

What do you mean?

Which facial features are different between the two?

I’ve never understood “African American” & continue to say black.

Africans can be other origins, from Indians, Cape Malays & Indonesians brought into South Africa as low cost labor to indigenous & Arabic descended whites in the north.
