I have a really difficult time being sympathetic here.

You can’t get a studio apartment in Orlando for $1,000 a month, let alone a three bedroom house. The cheapest three bedrooms in Orlando are going for probably around $2,500.

And payment in gift cards.

Too bad they lost $7000.00 and were evicted by Sheriff’s deputies in the sweltering heat.

But even a tiny amount of common sense would have prevented this.

And all counties in Florida have a property lookup system, allowing you to see the actual owner of the property, in this case Progress Residential, a corporate property owner.

If it sounds too good to be true…

Actually, Idaho is the number one State for rental scams, with Hawaii being second.

Florida is a very distant 17.
