House passes bill to ban transgender student-athletes from women's sports

I don’t really care about their motivation. There is no place in women’s sports for a biological male.

LIBs don’t care about all of the women a single biological male affects while forcing his way into a women’s locker room or onto a women’s team. The rights of that single trans individual must be protected, even if it means trampling on the rights of women.

It is sick.

If LIBs are involved, one can only assume they will take most controversial position. America overwhelmingly doesn’t want to see a biological male in the female locker room or on a women’s team.

Yes you are right . Who said anyone needs to shut up?

I seriously doubt we will see biological males in a female’s locker room as a matter of course.

Withholding funds for noncompliance, not using funds. Big difference.

Oh I was not making that comparison, it was just my meandering thoughts. You are spot on it has nothing to do with the topic at hand - my bad.

That’s called using funds. Which is different from funding.

It’s worse. It will lead to isolation for a handful of kids who get to feel the weight of the federal government bearing down on them.

This is idiotic.

Must comply! Thats the spirit!

And even if the bill doesn’t pass, I suspect title IX wil shortly get a revised interpretation. A bill would at least permanently resolve the issue.
But if Democrats think it is such an insignificant issue, they should just quickly pass it and forget about it.

Actually, the federal government won’t touch any individual. They will simply target institutions who allow biological males into female locker rooms. :+1:

Yep! If I choose to ignore posted speed limits there will be consequences. :+1:

The funds are already being distributed. The legislation would withhold the funds.

Biden passed a rule that federally funded schools must allow students to choose their restroom based on their subjective gender feelings rather than their sex. Conservatives need to use the same tools and rules or they are going to always lose the game.
But specifically to your question, I would like to see any state that receives funding for police, roads, schools or anything else to comply and assist ICE.

Correct.

Here is the Supreme Court test for funds. Do you think it meets the criteria

In addition, the Dole Court held that any conditions attached to the receipt of federal funds must: (1) be unambiguously established so that recipients can knowingly accept or reject them; (2) be germane to the federal interest in the particular national projects or programs to which the money is directed; (3) not violate other provisions of the Constitution, such as the First Amendment or the Due Process or Takings Clauses of the Fifth Amendment; and (4) not cross the line from enticement to impermissible coercion, such that states have no real choice but to accept the funding and enact or administer a federal regulatory program

That’s all fair. Same weapons and all that i get it. But are they still “conservatives” if they do so? Not the ICE idea i mean. This one in particular.

Thank goodness we did this so 99.999% of athletes don’t have a .001% chance of seeing a trans athlete. Let alone lose to them.

I haven’t a clue. I’ll leave it to the experts to figure out.

You. You want women to bow down to a few mentally ill males because they are special.
