This seems to be coming in under the radar but is near and dear to my heart. It passed the House in 2023, but with a DEM controlled Senate and a Biden veto threat it was DOA.
I have high hopes this time around.

Great!!!
Leftist will fight this tooth snd nail.
They enjoy watching men beat up on women.
They must.
It’s sick but apparently true.
Glad to see our legislators are spending time on this super important issue.
“How many athletes are there in the U.S. in NCAA schools?” Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) asked Baker during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing Tuesday on federal regulations around sports gambling.
“Five hundred and ten thousand,” said Baker, a former Republican governor of Massachusetts who has served since 2023 as president of the NCAA, which governs intercollegiate athletics at more than 1,000 colleges and universities across the country.
“How many transgender athletes are you aware of?” Durbin asked.
“Less than 10,” Baker said. He did not say whether that number includes transgender men.

We need more leaders like Spencer Cox.
There are four transgender players out of 85,000 who are competing in school sports after being ruled eligible by the state’s high school athletic association. There are no public concerns about competitive advantages. Only one competes in girls’ sports.
“Four kids who are just trying to find some friends and feel like they are a part of something. Four kids trying to get through each day,” Cox said in the letter explaining his veto, in which he cited suicide rates for transgender youth. “Rarely has so much fear and anger been directed at so few. I don’t understand what they are going through or why they feel the way they do. But I want them to live.”

Bipartisan!
So it’s ok with you that womrn get beaten up by men because heck it’s not that many women, right?
It’s worth allowing women to get beaten up by men to massage their delusion, right?
Who was it making changes to Title IX again??
One female’s hopes being dashed by a biological male is too many. She works her butt off in order to realize her dream of being a superior athlete. She is now at the age where all of her hard work is beginning to pay off.
And then a mediocre biological male decides he wants to compete as a woman.
Well guess what. In order to protect the non-existent rights of that female wannabe, the female who has worked her butt off will need to give up her dream so that the biological male’s rights aren’t violated. Never mind about the female’s rights.
I really get sick to my stomach every time I see those kinds of horror stories. Of everything going on right now, I see this as one of the most important issues.
That’s 10 too many.
Dashed hopes and dreams for 10 young women.
According to Grok there is likely a few million individuals active in sports that receive federal funding including college, high school etc.
Yet only a few hundred who identify as transgender.
Is this really an issue lawmakers need to be spending time on?
Passing legislation for something that is not going to have any discernible impact at all?
Why not focus on bigger and more important social issues, housing, access to affordable quality health care etc.
From my perspective this is just feel good legislation from Republicans.
So when something always impacts 10 individuals we need to pass legislation to stop that?
Who was it making changes to Title IX again??
Illegally making changes to Title IX.
Once again shot down by the Supreme Court.
From my perspective this is just feel good legislation from Republicans.
Tell that to the female athletes whose hopes and dreams are dashed by biological males wanting to compete as females. This should be a no-brainer without need for legislation. Biological males compete as males and biological females compete as females.
So when something always impacts 10 individuals we need to pass legislation to stop that?
This lunacy will only continue to get worse. Nip it in the bud.
Biological males compete as males and biological females compete as females.
How dare you use common sense.
Will it? I just think its crazy when this country has a lot bigger issues they want to spend time on an issue that impacts a small handful.
Though we will see if it passes the senate. Who knows what will happen there.
Though we will see if it passes the senate. Who knows what will happen there.
I don’t want to jinx it given my dismal prediction accuracy.
