If those charges are brought up… then he should face them.

Having a felony indictment is apparently not a reason to expel a House member so I don’t see why Bowman should have to play by a different set of rules.

Why should he?

Being charged with a crime is no longer a reason to be booted from or leave the House.

He should be censured by leadership in a bipartisan way… If he is censured I would be disappointed but not surprised if the Democrats don’t join in on that censure and he should be charged with the misdemeanor crime of pulling the fire alarm. His road to re-election should be rough… but I doubt it will be.
