President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un have entered the second-phase of their negotiations Tuesday morning in Singapore, holding expanded meetings with top officials from both governments; including Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

Trump and Kim sat with senior aides and translators in a Singapore resort Tuesday following the two leaders’ one-on-one meeting that lasted approximately 45 minutes; setting the stage for a possible normalization of relations between the United States and North Korea.

The high-level negotiations come just hours before both leaders are set to depart from Singapore, but insiders describe Trump and Kim’s travel plans as “fluid,” meaning both teams could opt to stay longer should positive developments occur.

After a brief photo op for the international press, each team will pursue its agenda during the high-stakes meeting, with the American delegation pushing for a complete denuclearization of the Korean peninsula and the communist regime seeking security guarantees and large-scale US investment in the region.

More information as it develops.
