Seems like it’s a ton of work. And you’ve got to grow a ■■■■ ton of it to make the economics work.

Don’t forget Trump…Europe needs to buy 120/150 billion dollars of weapons yearly to pay for their own defense. :+1:

A lot of it is done by machines, but yes, it is hard.

Takes a lot of water.

All things Trump as you put it equals America First and make America great again, so I’m all for Trump policies to make that happen. :us: :us:

Do you ever question what Trump does or do you blindly agree with whatever he says or does?

Unfortunately, what Trump is doing is making America irrelevant. But, I know the true believers aren’t going to open their eyes to see what is happening around them - which is why I rarely post here any longer.

I have to concentrate on making sure the wealth I have built up over a lifetime doesn’t completely disappear - which Trump is making a more difficult job by the day.

Oh so what youre saying is the only way america can stay relevant is to keep our borders open to illegals. To allow every other country to make america pay tariffs but not for us to reciprocate those tariffs back to those countries. To allow the fraud and waste to continue and make the tax payer pay for it. Thats not being relevant. Thats being taken advantage of.

Wow - that’s an amazing amount of statements that weren’t included in my post.

But, coming from the crowd that supports a guy who is putting tariffs in place in islands inhabited only by penguins, I guess that is to be expected.

I hope those damn penguins make sure their visas are properly in place so the Trumpers don’t gripe about them if they decide to visit.

You said trump is making america irrelevant. Are protected borders not relevant? Isnt americas economy not relevant? Putting america first, is that not relevant? Trump haters gotta hate i suppose.

Here’s the thing - a lot of Trump allies including Elon Musk, Joe Rogan, and Bill Ackman are begging Trump to stop this nonsense because of the damage it is going to do to the economy. Ackman has gone as far as to warn of an economic nuclear winter for the nation if he continues down this road. It is that economic damage, combined with nations trying to work around us and trade with each other rather than us, that is going to make America irrelevant.

But, ironically, it will probably solve the immigrant problem as America will eventually be seen as an unattractive destination for migrants. No one wants to go to a nation with a failing economy. Immigrants would be better off staying put than going to another nation with an economy that is in the toilet like theirs.

And the saddest part of this is that none of it had to happen. I’m sitting here watching the US go up in flames in real time, and knowing my nephews, nieces, and others of future generations are not going to be able to live in the thriving country that I knew most of my life. It didn’t have to be this way.

America Last libs are something else.

I lived in Germany back in the 80s. The steering wheel was on the same side as ours back then. Has it changed?

Thanks for the correction, I may have misremembered her driving in the UK. She traveled a lot in her assignment.

I think you are correct.

NP, I just looked it up. They’re left sided like us still.

A Toyota Tundra is the size of my F-150 4X4 crew cab. A Toyota Highlander is the size of a Ford Explorer. Comparable American cars and their Japanese, German and S Korean counterparts are the same size. It’s not the 1980’s anymore

Talk to your guy Trump. He’s the one making America last by trashing the economy. This isn’t about ideology - it’s about having a country left in 4 years. Even his allies are warning him of what these tariffs could do - and I see even Republicans in the Senate are waking up to that fact and trying to get these tariffs under control. They’ll fail because of Trump’s puppet Mike Johnson, but they are at least trying. I have to give them credit for that.
