Now let’s compare fossil fuels with renewable energy.
FIRST and FOREMOST, you have to have RELIABILITY in any energy source, so you CANNOT use the renewables we currently have to make most of our energy. They are NOT reliable.
So everything is relative. Fossil fuels are NOT as clean as solar or wind but they are MUCH cleaner than they have ever been and getting cleaner.
Since you CANNOT use renewables for most of your energy you have to choose between the fossil fuels and at the same time have diversity between them, so you are never caught our relying solely on one.
The President understands that, which makes him smarter than you, when it comes to energy.
